Currently at: Ohio State University About me and why I am fasting: I lived in Sri Lanka during times of war, when we had to survive for days without food or water. Here, in America, I am lucky enough to be a voice for Tamils in Sri Lanka, where I can show the world the difficult lives of Tamils. They don't have the opportunity to have even one meal a day. I feel their suffering and I want to encourage others to continue telling the world of their suffering. I believe that their dreams can become a reality and I will work relentlessly to make that happen. Meals Sacrificed
