Currently at: Washington University in St. Louis, School of Law There has been something good to come out of all the awful things going on in Sri Lanka. Over the past few weeks, there has been incredible solidarity among the Tamil people around the world in calling the acts of the Sri Lankan government genocide. Tamil students in Canada, in Australia, in India, have all banded together in protest, by standing out in the cold, by going without food, by making noise. I'm fasting because I wanted to let my friends, my congressional representatives, my President and my Tamil brothers and sisters around the world know that we are standing with them. Meals Sacrificed
